Kumiko Shoji Screens

Kumiko shoji screens softly partition spaces while gently allowing light and air to pass through. Natural light filtering through the washi paper brightly envelops the room, creating a comfortable atmosphere. They use the same design as standard shoji, combining functionality with beauty.

Acrylic Shoji Screens

Acrylic shoji screens are more durable than washi paper and highly resistant to tearing. They withstand moisture and dirt well, making them easy to clean and ideal for homes with children or pets. The thin matt finish offers high transparency, allowing you to fully appreciate the beauty of the kumiko latticework.

Suspended Sliding Doors (Tsuri-do)

Suspended sliding doors (tsuri-do) open and close by hanging from an upper rail. No floor rail or groove is required, creating a flush, step-free surface that’s easy to clean. They feature soft-close functionality for quiet, smooth operation and are widely used in homes and commercial spaces.

Hinged Doors

Kumiko latticework can be incorporated into hinged doors in various designs. It stands out beautifully on solid heavy doors or simple veneered types, harmonising with the entrance or interior when paired with thoughtful handles and hardware.

Double-sided Kumiko

This luxurious fitting features kumiko latticework on both sides, making it the centrepiece of any space. Acrylic sandwiched in the centre improves air conditioning efficiency. Although the cost is double due to the dual layers, its intricate design can be appreciated from both sides.

Natural Wood Handles

Handcrafted from natural wood, these handles highlight the grain and are meticulously shaped by artisans. They offer a smooth feel and pleasing patina over time, adding warmth to entrance or interior doors. Fixed securely with traditional mortise-and-tenon joints without metal hardware.
